We love requests and have a huge music repertoire from which
to choose. This includes a comprehensive selection from the
50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, R&B,

Once you have booked your disco with us, we invite you to
send us a list of your favourite music
requests, please include any music that may make the night
extra special and please mention any must to avoid. If you
request a tune which we do not have, we endeavor to fill the
gaps in our collection. However as we do not rip off original
artistes, the music must be legally available and on Uk release. We are also happy to play any specialized music that you may
have or would like to be played and return this at the end
of the evening.
We can match the music to fit the theme so for a fabulous
theme party you could concentrate on just one music style
i.e 50's rock 'n' roll, swinging 60's, 70's glam rock or
disco, 80's pop, 90's dance, or anything from the current
Urban and UK chart.
We also have almost every cheesy party song you can imaging as well as extensive selections from the classic performers
of the past. We have a very broad music selection for seasonal
occasions, ie: Christmas
Parties, New Years, and other Theme
night events.
Although we have a huge selection of music
(which has taken over 30 years to compile) the thing no
DJ ever has enough of, is is time. During a 4 hour party there is only
time to play around 70-80 tunes, so its not the quantity but
the quality of the music selection that counts. To know
which of the many thousands of records available are the
right ones to play during your party is a matter of experience, its often the case that a new DJ will make lots of mistakes gaining this experience.
However pro mobile disco has this essential real time party experience and our professional DJ's will always bring with them a
wide selection of music which they feel may be appropriate
for the occasion.

Today most people use a personal music storage device such as an ipod and with much greater access to music have a clear idea as to what tunes they would like at their party. When planning a party some people mistakenly believe they can create a 100% music playlist for the DJ that everyone will enjoy. They may have also asked their guests to include some requests with the RSVP so they can be extra sure of getting it right. Unfortunately if asked for a favourite tune most people instead of suggesting something that's popular will plump for something obscure that means something to them alone. On one occasion we where sent a music playlists that included opera, 50's blues to hard house as well as every thing in between. Asking for requests before hand will create a playlist that will bore most of people most of the time.
